In principle, yes. However, since you do not have a DisplayPort, and according to my information, no video out is supported via USB-C and a possible adapter to DisplayPort, you unfortunately cannot benefit from the 144Hz via HDMI.

so it would work but i would just have the default Hz when using the monitor? or could i not even connect the monitor? thanks for the answer.
