Hello dear community I also bought the ROG Swift PG32UQ a few days ago. But somehow I have the feeling that the picture is not displayed correctly. (Contrast) Maybe I got a bad panel...? I would like to ask you for your experiences. Firstly, I have a dead pixel. It's not bad and hardly noticeable, not worth mentioning. However, the image is too overexposed for me (especially at the corners). Be it in HDR or normal mode. (No matter which picture settings) I also tried these settings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYODjsZvpIs It's a little better, but not really satisfactory. Details in dark passages are generally hardly recognisable, it is simply black without structures (or hardly at all) and in addition the image that would be black is quite brightly lit. Difficult to describe... I am aware that this is not an OLED btw^^ But with a gaming monitor, it should also be possible to see what's going on in dark sections of the image. In general, dark images or games are very poor in detail, which is not what I'm used to... and I was also surprised because the screen was actually rated very well by testers and users. My head is about 80-90 cm away from the screen when I'm gaming, but if I go further away, the picture is a bit better in terms of contrast and detail. Interestingly, the contrast is slightly better on the PC than on the PS5. In Returnal, for example, dark passages are hardly playable because it's very hard to see where the floor begins or ends. So what are your experiences? Do you also have such an "overexposed image in dark scenes that you can hardly see anything"? Are you sitting so far away from the screen...? I haven't found anything else about this, so I'm asking you. Mercii for the inputs :)

For such enquiries, we recommend starting a discussion. More customers respond to questions about experiences there than to a single question.
