Hello, could someone please check my watch list and give me some tips/suggestions? https://www.digitec.ch/de/ShopList/Show?shopListId=63AE159B0D5705360285670536F I know that SLI is not popular with everyone but I just want to see what is possible. The case should be simple and well cooled. With the SLI Bridge I don't know if 6 or 8 cm. Which thermal paste would you use? Is the Gigabyte 1080 Ti faster than the Asus Strix? thank you.

Hello - I have the Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti Extreme in my case. The Gigabyte is a bit faster than the 1080TI from Asus, but you can of course overclock both cards manually. The Gigabyte is a little quieter than the Asus. But the Gigabyte has an enormous cooler, so the Asus is better suited. With the Gigabyte, there's maybe 1mm between the two cards, so there's definitely not enough space, I wouldn't do that...
Thermal paste: I find the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut very good, can be processed well and conducts very well.
Bridge: If you use the first and the third PCIe connector you need the 6cm version.
Housing: With SLI, the bigger the better the cooling, as enormous heat is generated. I always go for the biggest cases available, I have a Phanteks Enthoo Primo, it's huge, good to work in and looks nice... But I would definitely look at the big towers...
Rest: I personally like it very much, wouldn't change a thing.
Have fun and greetings - Peter
