Question about Sonos Ray

Hello all I would like to connect the Sonos Ray to my TV. Due to the lack of HDMI input, I would have to use the optical input. I read contradictory things in other forums about whether you can use the remote control of the TV or receiver with the optical input (as with HDMI ARC). I don't want two remote controls. What are your experiences, can I also control the output of the Ray with the remote control of the TV or receiver? LG Christian

Hi Christian, I have the Sonos Ray, via the optical cable. But I don't know if it's easier for me to use, because I can control everything via the Apple TV remote control! 🤷🏻‍♀️
Don't know if my answer is helpful!

Hello, just to be sure: You are using the Apple TV remote to control the Sonos Ray, which is connected to the TV via the optical input, and (via Apple TV) the TV, right?
