Hello all I am looking for an Ethernet cable for my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014). It has two Thunderbolt 2 and two USB 3 ports. I don't know which adapter is the right one for me. I was going to buy the USB adapter first, but now I see that there is also the one for Thunderbolt.... (don't really understand the difference). Do they both work?

Hi Debbi08, the Thunderbolt adapter can do Gigabit, the USB only 100 - so the former is 10 times faster. In my experience, it also runs a bit more stable. If you have two Thunderbolt ports anyway, you can connect the network via Thunderbolt and still have one free, e.g. for an external display. Have fun with it!
