Question about Panasonic 25mm f/1.7 ASPH.

Hello all :) The 35mm equivalent of this lens "Panasonic 25mm f/1.7 ASPH" on a 35mm camera is 50mm. How is this now with my Lumix GH5? I'm afraid I don't quite understand. I need the lens for portraits and it would be bad if I ended up with 70mm. Many thanks in advance & best regards

mFt has a cropfactor of 2, so 2x25mm. Why would that be bad if it was 70mm for portraits? That would even be good. 50mm would be too short for portraits, but of course it works.
