Question about LC-Power SuperSilent Black-Edition 6550

Hello all. I'm putting together a new PC and I'm really confused. My amdR9/280/4G has 1x6pin and 1x4pin power connectors. Can I use this power supply for it?

According to the specifications, the power supply has a 6+2 pin connector for graphics cards, i.e. you can either connect a card with a 6 or 8 pin power connector, both together do not work.
But now I ask myself where an R9 280 has a 4 pin power connector!
