Question about Garmin Forerunner 945

I mean, that was only an issue with a Digitec delivery at the very start. I never had any problems with the language and the maps. The map is really top. Very detailed and I load hikes, bike tours or running laps on it. I am very happy with the watch and can highly recommend it. Especially if you enjoy all the options and possibilities. On the positive side, the battery can easily last for 8-hour hikes over 25 km. With the Garmin 735 this was very critical, not possible.

Hello, I don't think so. It doesn't seem that the watch can ever be set to German and the map material of Europe was not installed on mine. I then found a way to download free maps onto it, but not from Garmin. Apparently you would have to buy the Garmin maps as well. I recommend you don't buy the "import product" and rather pay a little more and have German and the correct map material. LG
