Has anyone managed to use WiFi calling with the OnePlus 8 Pro? I can't get it to work and would appreciate any tips. In the settings under WLAN & Network - SIM & Network - SIM 1 - Improved communication, you should be able to switch on VoLTE and WiFi. However, these menu items were not available for me. I had to change this first with the following instructions, which is pretty bad. https://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-enable-volte-and-vowifi-on-oneplus-7-pro/ After that, I was able to activate WiFi calling and restart the device. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work. I went to Sunrise and found out more there. My SIM card supports WiFi calling and it worked fine with my previous smartphone (Huawei 20 Pro). If you research Sunrise, they also state that the OnePlus 7 is supported for WiFi Calling, but not the OnePlus 8, see the link below. https://www.sunrise.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/mobile/mobile-einrichten/hardware-support.html?seite=topic/wlan-anrufe-wi-fi-calling/wlan-anrufe-aktivieren/device/oneplus WiFi calling is an important feature and on such an expensive smartphone, it simply has to work. If this issue cannot be resolved, I strongly advise against buying it! Does anyone have any further insights on this topic?

Hello everyone, I have had the OnePlus 8Pro for a few days. The deciding factor was that it supports WIFI calling. I asked Sunrise about it and they assured me that it works. Now, after buying it, I tried it straight away. Unfortunately, nothing. After talking to a support team leader, I received an email with instructions. And lo and behold - now it works! I am happy and would like to share it with you.

Here are the simple instructions. Unfortunately only in English.

1. install onepluslogit from here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk...
2. *#800# => oneplus Logkit => Function Switch => VoLTE and VoWif switch on.
Reboot phone. 4.
4. in sim settings enable VoWifi on both sims, (VoLTE should be enabled automatically).
5. et voila (at least for me on Orange Poland)

WIFI Calling already works on my One+ 8T after the tutorial in post #2.

OnePlus is not officially represented in Switzerland and therefore access to functions such as Wi-Fi Calling and 5G, which unfortunately both require country-specific unlocks in the software, will probably continue to be blocked. However, there are instructions on forums.oneplus.com to unlock the functions until the next update. However, this will have to be repeated.

@DanielMeyer82
I agree, for such a steep price you shouldn't have to mod the phone. Unfortunately, I'm at exactly the same point as you, but with Cablecom/UPC. WiFi calling and VoLTE are not working there either.

Since the upgrade to Android 12, VoWifi no longer works.
It worked without any problems under Android 11.
Does anyone have any information on this?

Unfortunately, it's the same with Salt. I opened a ticket weeks ago but nothing happens :-(. It worked on my previous Samsung.

Does Wifi Calling work on the 8 Pro in the meantime or has the status with Sunrise not changed since June?

Something is generally wrong with the Oneplus 8 Pro at Sunrise. They haven't been able to switch on 5g for me yet either, even though everything should be right. The option is simply impossible to actually activate. I think Sunrise and Oneplus just haven't properly certified the 8 Pro for the network yet.
