Has anyone else who owns the lens also noticed that when taking photos at a greater distance, the whole thing becomes relatively blurred? at 3-5m I get pixel sharp images, 10m+ no more

I have the same problem with an a6000 and the 240 lens and was a bit disappointed with the quality but still SONY

It's often due to the air in between.

It's a shit lens either way. The Sony a6x00 are for short distances, beyond that you need an A7x with the appropriate glass.
