Question about OnePlus 8 Pro (12GB)
Has anyone been able to get the Postfinance app to work on the OP8 Pro? It crashes all the time when I'm setting it up, i.e. every 5-10 seconds the screen flashes and I'm on the app start page (so no OS "App crash" error message!). A bit of a "Groundhog Day" feeling :-) The Postfinance app ran without problems on my Pixel 2 before :-( Other banking apps (e.g. Revolut, Swisscard) work without problems.... Postfinance customer service couldn't help ("we haven't tested this model with the app yet")...

So - I bit the bullet and did a factory reset on the OnePlus 8 Pro. Then I _did not_ start the migration wizard. Then installed Postfinance on the "empty" phone, and lo and behold: no crashes.
So: if you want to use the Postfinance app, you'd better not use the OnePlus migration service :-( (or as Mazur_ch writes, the Samsung "Smart Switch" service)....

For me, the engineer mode was the culprit. Uninstalled and Postfinance APP is running again 😀
Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I simply cannot use Postfinance on the Oneplus 8 Pro.
I have a new Samsung Galaxy S20 5G. I also have the same problem. Technical support said it was probably due to the apps that were transferred from the old phone to the new one via Smart Switch. An app with access to the system could trigger a warning in the Postfinance app, which would then switch the app off again.
Variant 1: uninstall individual apps and try out the Postfinance app. If it was not the app, install it again and uninstall the next possible app.
Variant 2: reset to factory settings, first install the Postfinance app and connect the accounts and then load the apps over. However, even then there seem to have been isolated problems. Then you had to do the transfer without the apps.
I'm still working on variant 1. I haven't found the "evil" app yet. It would be cool to have a list online showing the problematic apps....
