Question about Philips Hue Being Base

Has anyone already retrofitted this lamp in colour? I find the Being lamps very beautiful, even the larger version. However, I would also like to be able to set colours. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything like that in the Philips range. I tend to simply convert/upgrade the lamp with an additional LED strip and controller. But I'm not sure if the LED driver can handle it :-) If anyone here has any advice, just let me know, and I'll post my experience with the conversion in a few weeks.
