I have seen on the net and on YouTube that the card has a construction error? See this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx2pvmXA4eg or here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv1Uw1NjuJo Are these newer cards? Has something been changed? Or does the error still exist? Because at these prices, I would think twice.

I just looked at my card. At the moment it is practically idle and only with water without the fan and has a temperature of 53 degrees.

My card is probably not affected by this either, I have never seen the temperature exceed 40°.
But the build quality of the water cooler can't compete with "real" water coolers. If you're looking for the best, go for a dedicated cooler. If you simply want to cool the card with water, I can recommend it.
And with self-designed coolers you have to be very careful that all necessary components really have good contact to the cooler. And most of the time you also lose the warranty claim.

I have this graphics card in an SLI network. I looked at the temperature under full load. In this test, one graphics card reached a maximum of 38°C and the other 42°C. The maximum I have ever seen with one of my graphics cards was 50°C. Despite the low temperatures, I was actually able to recreate the temperature drop when applying light pressure as shown in the videos. However, the temperature difference was just 1°C. However, one must not forget that in my system the direct heat dissipation is controlled with 8 120mm radiator fans. I can't say to what extent this has anything to do with a fault, but I am satisfied with my temperatures.

Hey Together

Sorry for the late reply. Asus didn't know about the problem, but I did get a few recommendations:

"According to Asus, you should not tighten the screws yourself, as otherwise no warranty is guaranteed if you send it in later via RMA.

One possibility mentioned was that the card could be held more horizontally with a VGA holder.
First, it should be tested whether a temperature difference is really noticeable when the card is lifted."

But if the guarantee exists, by all means use it.

Kind regards
Yannick

I have been using the Poseidon graphics card with water cooling for a few months. I have 420 radiator and I have maximum under load only 53 ° and with hybrid about 49 ° and that at stable 2050Mhz. I have not noticed any temperature fluctuation, I bought it in April.

Thanks to both of you for the accurate information. I would cool the card in SLI with 2x 480 and a 420 radiator. I will think again whether I want to buy this card. The temperatures look very good on your side. For me it wouldn't be so bad if the cards were 5 degrees warmer. When I look at the prices of the normal tickets, I would probably get cheaper with the ticket anyway. When did you buy your tickets?
