Regardless of which electrical outlet they are connected to?

This meter measures the current of the connected device, i.e. the device at the end of the cable that you plug in here (e.g. I plug in a hairdryer and then see what it consumes. I use it to check and bill the charging of my electric car at the household socket). This device can NOT be used to measure the power consumption of the house.
