Question about Sonos Beam Gen 2

Yes that's enough, have a 10 year old Sony Bravia with ARC, runs flawlessly

I have bought a new Sony TV X85K (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/sony-kd-55x85k-4k-lcd-2022-55-tv-20535401). Unfortunately, I have not yet managed to connect the Sonos Beam to the TV via HDMI-ARC. I have reset both devices to factory settings, as well as checking and experimenting with all the settings on the Sony TV. The TV recognises an audio system, but the Sonos app can't connect. I can't get any sound through the Beam. It's quite annoying, I don't think anyone will help me (Sony will refer to Sonos and Sonos will refer to Sony). The same Beam worked fine on a Samsung TV. Unfortunately, I had to replace the TV as the Samsung didn't even last a year. For this reason I have now bought the Sony, but without sound it is no fun.

eARC compatibility is essential if you want to play Dolby atmos sound. The soundbar will work on simple ARC but with reduced performance.
