I would like to connect my headset (has only one jack) to the PS4 and to my PC at the same time. Can I do this with this device? It is important that I can use the microphone for the PS party. Or is there possibly another product that would support this function? I might also buy a new headset if there is one that supports this. Except for the Astro Gaming A50 (the microphone is subterranean).

Yes, that works. I have also installed it this way. The USB connection in the computer and the optical cable in the PS. However, the PC must always be switched on.
