The PC would certainly work, but savings can be made in many places. But you have to consider what you want to use your PC for. Which games, applications?
What about the peripherals, i.e. monitor, keyboard and mouse?

I would save money in various places, which is completely unnecessary in my opinion.

The I5 is enough for a gaming PC. A normal SSD will also suffice, you won't notice the difference. Then 1TB for that. If you need more than 1TB, add a WD Blue. As for the RAM, I would take something from the QVL of the mainboard, I've put 2x 8GB there now. That's enough for gaming. And with the power supply 1200W are simply an absolute overkill... 450 watts is enough (GraKa 180 watts, CPU 91 watts).

Even for 4k gaming, no more than 4 cores are needed. The GPU will limit.

If editing benefits from more cores, I would rather recommend an i7. There are already 8 cores (4 physical and 4 virtual). But I doubt that a 650 CPU will give you so much more pleasure that it would be worth the extra price. The same goes for the RAM. If you want more than 16GB, then go for 32, but not necessarily at a price of over 300. Better put the money aside for a future upgrade of the graphics card, for example.

important to remember is that i will be using it mostly for 4k gaming and editing, at 4k the pc needs 4x more rendering power so the components need to be a bit more efficient.
