Good day. I would be interested to know if it is possible to start the machine with a "timer". So when the mechanical toggle switch on/off is set to "on" and then the power cable is plugged in, does the machine then start to heat up? Then I could heat up the machine in the morning while I'm still asleep. For me, this is a knock-out criterion with these heating times. Please only answer if you are 100% sure that my idea works. Thanks and greetings
I think this is the wrong machine if you don't have time. Preparing a coffee or cappuccino takes time. And after enjoying it, the machine also needs to be cleaned. The same goes for the grinder. If little attention is paid to cleaning, it will soon take its toll. After just three weeks. Otherwise, a very great coffee machine. Mine heats up in about 10 minutes. And I need this time to grind the beans, tamp and preheat the cups.
I have also done this - with the Swisscom variant (WLAN plug that you can connect to the router). This way you can also set rules (switch on every morning at 0500, for example). Works 100%.
I don't think the heating times are that bad. I find about 10 minutes really ok. Otherwise, use the WLAN socket as described. Have fun
I have connected this machine with the "Max Hauri max smart 2.0" from digitec so that you can switch it on via app or timer, so you don't have to wait for it to heat up... It's been working perfectly for 6 months now, even the power consumption is displayed. Greetings
