Question about Logitech M705

Good day I have a question about the Logitech M705 mouse. I am looking for a mouse that has a thumb button (for programme switching), the button is under half of the thumb. Just the other day I bought such a mouse (almost the same product name), unfortunately without the button, so I wanted to ask before I order it again.

Helpful answer

The mouse has two buttons that are operated by the thumb and that cause "page back/forward" in the browser. In other programmes, the keys are not assigned, but there are certainly tools that can be used to assign any function to the keys.

The 2010 version had this button, the 2017 version no longer does. You can't find the 2010s in stores anymore. I bought a handful at Costco back then WITH the feature. Because I liked my company mouse so much. They are still in their original packaging because the company mouse still works even though it landed on the floor 1,000 times and the rubber on my little finger was sanded down to the plastic by the nail.

Hello Petrick

I have 2 different Logitech M705s at home, one with and one without a thumb button.

The following mouse (see link below) is equipped with a thumb button, which I use as a "Task View" button. I very rarely change the batteries and the ergonomic posture is very comfortable due to the size and shape. I can warmly recommend these to you.
