Good day dear community I have purchased this device, I have measured my device and calculated the annual consumption on paper and repeated this several times to exclude errors. The prices do not match the meter. If the meter costs 00.18 francs, I get 175.- (annually). If I set the meter to 18.00 (out of pure curiosity), I end up with over 6000.- (annually). However, with a consumption of 1000 watts per year with an average of 18.16 centimes per kWh, I end up with 1591 francs (rounded up to francs). Can anyone tell me how exactly I have to enter the Rappe per kilowatt hour? Is 00.18 the correct setting or not? The instructions are rather bad than good. Kind regards Manu
Procedure: Reset the unit using the reset button and set 00.18 Fr / kWh.
The unit calculates the mean value over a long time. Without a reset, it takes a very long time until the display is correct.

this has little to do with the device, but rather how expensive the electricity is where you live. in most regions of switzerland, you can choose the electricity product and depending on the selection, the whole thing costs roughly between 15-25rp per kwh. but that is only the electricity price(!) plus grid connection fees and usage fees that can vary depending on the provider. to get a realistic price you have to calculate the electricity price and the fees per kwh and use this. with a double tariff it is even more difficult to give a realistic price because it depends on when the appliances are running. you can take the number of kwh used and the price paid from your old bill and use that as a reference point.
