Good day, according to Lacie, this product should have a 5-year warranty. Why does Digitec only grant 24 months?

You also have a 5-year warranty with Lacie. The 2 years refer to the warranty that you have directly from Digitec. After the 2 years, you must contact the manufacturer directly if you have any warranty issues.
