Firmware update does not work for me. I always get the message Update file not found, even though I formatted it with Player and then only copied the new firmware file onto it. What now?

Then you should make a downgrade. The current version is FW1.4, so try FW1.3. http://fiio.me/forum.php
Otherwise, restore the factory settings.
