Question about Hähnel Captur radio remote shutter release Sony

Does this radio shutter release work with the Sony RX100 V? According to the manufacturer, it should work (https://www.hahnel.ie/irish-shop/captur_for_sony/#tabs2). I ask because the RX100 V does not have a hot shoe. A cable connection is sufficient? So a connection to the hot shoe is not necessary?

It should work for triggering. I only use this on the Sony A7Riii via the cable. I am very satisfied.
