Question about AsRock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac
Does this motherboard have a real Thunderbolt 3 connection with 40/gs? somehow the manufacturer's website only says 10/gs compatible.
No, the Thunderbolt 3 controller of the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac only serves 2 PCIe lanes (out of a maximum of 4), and does not manage 40 Gbit/s, but only 20 Gbit/s.
On the other hand, the Mobo is quite energy-efficient compared to the competition - and it is the only more or less current Intel mini-ITX with TB3.
