Does this monitor have its own mains connection? I don't see this information anywhere in the description (maybe I'm blind). This would be important information for such monitors in general, as it would be crucial for the purchase. The power supply unit of my notebook has just as much power as my notebook draws at maximum. This means that it is not possible to power a second monitor on my Lenovo T490s via the USB port! Many thanks for the clarification. R.C.
The monitor is powered via a USB-C connection. A USB-C cable is included, but a separate power supply unit is not.
However, the monitor consumes very little power; I always operate it via a power bank.
Strange, I operate the monitor with a USB power supply and I am almost 100% sure that this was included with the cable. But it doesn't matter: the monitor has the following connections: 1x HDMI, 2x USB-C, 1x USB A, 1x 3.5mm jack.
Thus: X any USB power supply/charger or said power bank + a USB A-USB C or USB C-USB C cable for an independent power supply of the monitor.
