I usually have ANC on high and this is like a world of its own for me. But I've also tried it without ANC and I don't notice any deterioration. Of course, this is very individual... But I am very satisfied with the PX7, except for the wind noise, which comes through in some weather conditions... I would buy it at the current price of 279...
