Does this graphics card really need 50 watts more (225W) than its more powerful brother GTX 980 Strix (175W)?

Hi patrick.mue so the power consumption of the graphics card including the system is about 297 watts max. the Geforce GTX 980 is 280, so only 17 difference, in Windows the value is of course much lower.
