Does this adaptor work for the new M1 MacBook Pro from 2020 ? And does this model have a Thunderbolt 2 port ? Thanks in advance for the answers

Yes, it is compatible with the MacBook Pro 2020.
No, unfortunately it's a mini DP port, not Thunderbolt 2. Note that MiniDP is not compatible with Thunderbolt Display or Storage.
