Does the Smart Socket work with WLan 2.4GHz or with the newer 5GHz? In this case, do I not need any additional devices? Many thanks

Hello, it works in 2.4 only. You don't need an extra device to make it work. All you need is an initial connection from your phone via Alexa or Siri and you're ready to go. See also the manufacturer's website. You can also link it with Tuya Smart. Enjoy the rest
