Question about Ortofon 2M Blue

Does the part fit on the tone arm of the TEAC TN-4D? Is the assembly difficult? Does this part bring an audible advantage over the Oyster MM cartridge supplied with the TEAC TN-4D?

I don't know the Oyster MM cartridge, but just listened briefly on Youtube (search term "Ortofon 2M Red vs Sumiko Oyster") and I am sure that the 2M Blue is a better cartridge. Personally, I have experienced and heard a huge improvement in sound when upgrading from the 2M Red to the Blue, and I think the 2M Red is already a better pickup.

Maybe if you could be a little more specific about what you're looking for, or what you're not happy with in the Oyster MM, I can answer your question better.

The tone arm of the TEAC looks like a standard tone arm, so it should fit. For experienced hands, changing the pickup is not a difficult matter. The big challenge is the alignment/adjustment. If you are not quite sure, and before you break something, I would take it to a professional, at least for the first time.
