The headphones do not have noise cancelling. They do not shield the sound any better than other full-ear headphones. The only advantage is the memory foam plugs. They shield a little better. However, nothing compared to the Bose qc 35, for example.
Somehow that doesn't work - or I don't understand the question correctly. Of course there is always noise suppression when you put something in your ear, but the headphones do not provide hermetic protection. On the contrary. The headphones can be set to "silent" with a short tap, e.g. to follow a conversation. This function is basically a contradiction to the required earplugs.
