I have connected a Macbook Pro (2020, Intel) via the supplied USB-C cable / TB and can use the full resolution 5120x1440.

I own the monitor and a Mac Mini M1. The maximum resolution is currently 3840 * 1080 pixels via HDMI. I found out on the internet that a higher resolution is possible via a TB3 cable. I have now ordered one and will write a review later.
