Does the lens fit a nikkon d750? can you achieve good results with it in the area of insects,raindrops etc.? or which lens would be recommended and also still possible freehand to photograph this?
The previous answer is correct as far as it goes. In principle, however, it would work.
The D750 has a full-frame sensor (35.9 x 24.0 mm), Nikon designation FX; the lens is for a half-format sensor (crop) (23.5 x 15.6 mm), Nikon designation DX (DX is also in the lens designation).
Such a lens leads to vignetting of the image on the D750 (image edges are dark). You would have to buy an FX lens, but they are a lot more expensive because of the large sensor.
Suitable lenses are: AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED; a cheaper 60mm with aspheres but without image stabiliser as a compromise: AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED. Both lenses are currently running a cash back promotion....
