Question about Intel NUC NUC8i7BEH2 - Bean Canyon
Does the Intel® Management Engine have to be installed on the NUC8i7BEH? Can the Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) only be installed with Windows? How to install it without Windows, only with Linux? How to install the latest BIOS update 0066 25.02.2019 without ME installed? Previous BIOS versions could be updated without ME installed. 0066 25.02.2019 now apparently not.
Attention! Intel has apparently withdrawn the newer BIOS versions (2019) NUC8i7BEH! OMG! Status 12.04.2019.
The update goes smoothly with a BIOS file as always, and the firmware for the management engine is also updated with it:

Put the thing on a USB stick and trigger the update via F7 during boot, done.
I have just done the Bios update. Download the version for the UEFI update and copy it to a USB stick. Press F7 on start-up, select file and it is updated. Independent of installed OS and IME
