Does the docking station include a charger and a cable to connect to the laptop?
Yes, it contains a charger and a Thunderbolt 4 split cable for the notebook connection.

The connector consists of two parts that are held together magnetically.
Put together, a workstation notebook with high power requirements is supported.
Disassembled, in my use, you get a Thunderbolt 4 connector and a standard power connector.
With the T4 connector you can support a standard notebook.
I have 2 x 27" monitors with 2560x1440 and various peripherals connected.
