No there is no power button. I just tested with my Windows 10 laptop to see if you can wake it from sleep mode by unplugging/plugging the cable, but it doesn't work. 
Unlike another answer, I have no problems with the device and use it daily.

No, it does not. This product is very quirky. I am having lots of issues with it. I would not recommend it.
