Does the camera have to be supplied with power or does it also have a battery? If there is no battery, is the cigarette lighter sufficient or must it be connected via the on-board electronics?

Helpful answer

The camera records a film of the course of the journey (and in the worst case crash), but does not quantify the time / place / speed. The camera can be mounted in any direction, even backwards. A short and a long USB cable are supplied; the power supply usually works via a 'cigar lighter adapter', but connection to a USB power bank is also possible. Typical current consumption approx. 330 mA.

Hoi and yes, the camera should be supplied with power either way, because what's the point of a battery (if it's cold and always empty, just like in the current weather) - https://www8.garmin.com/manuals... describes how it is with the power and the dascham (USB to Zig power supply).

Hoi Wyrack. The cigarette lighter is enough. Or a PowerBank. Plug in, run!
