Question about Samsung Quick charger EP-TA800XB

The cable is USB C to USB C, if you want to plug it into the PC you usually need USB A, I connected the cable to the PC with a USB A adapter but unfortunately the data transfer did not work. Maybe the adapter is not supported. Smartphone Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
