Does the cable also work on the MacBook? It only says that it is made for Windows. Thank you.
If the MacBook has a USB port, it should work. The converter is basically an external USB hard drive, only without a disk. If an SSD is connected, please note that this converter does not support Fstrim.
In any case, the part works perfectly under Linux.
