Does the Bulp mode also work with it? Exposure for longer than 30 seconds?

Yes, it works with the Sony A 7 III, programme mode M, turn shutter speed to Bulb, 1* press shutter on remote control -> recording starts, press shutter again on remote control -> recording is completed.
