Does the adapter also work for an Apple MacBook?

I used the StarTech USB 3.0 TO HDMI VIDEO ADAPTER and so I have a total of 5 x 32 inches hanging on my MacBook. It works without any problems in connection with the DisplayLink software. Hope I was able to help. Greetings
