Does Swiss German keyboard layout mean that there is no "ß" or is the key present as in the pictures?

No, it is not there.
No sharp S. The keyboard is not suitable for writing texts. More like gaming.
No "ß" because CH layout.
on the Swiss keyboard, the ? and ^ are to the right of the zero. no ß is visible on the keyboard. But the language can logically be changed on the software page, then you just press the ? so that the ß appears.
