The external monitor does not work on my MacBook via this USB hub. I don't use a webcam, so I can't comment on this.

I don't think the power supply is sufficient for the monitor. The webcam, on the other hand, should work without any problems.

Yes why not - as long as all is USB C
I use it only for external SDD. mouse, keyboard etc
