Does anyone use this belt to pair with the treadmills in the gym? We have Matrix treadmills. Does it matter if the belt is coded or uncoded, or is the chest belt automatically recognised and connected either way?

I use the (uncoded) belt in the gym. It also works perfectly on Matrix treadmills. I have never tried the coded version.
