Does anyone know if I can connect an external microphone to the UE Boom (via 3.5mm) and which model would be recommended?

Helpful answer

The 3.5 mm input is an analogue input and expects levels as from a headphone output. This input is not suitable for a microphone.
Another possibility is to record something from the mobile phone with an app and then play it back via Bluetooth. However, you can only use this to make pre-planned announcements☺.
