Does anyone have the problem that the device automatically closes apps after a certain time, even though there is more than 2 GB RAM available? It looks like after 6 apps can be open. The setting "Close apps after lock" is set to disabled.

Hello,

Try the following in addition:

- Search for "Battery" under Settings
- Open battery manager
- Open protected apps
- Select the apps you do not want to be closed when the screen is switched off.
- If you need the phone manager and/or battery optimiser from Huawei (Emui), make sure that it is not deactivated again during optimisation.

Basically, the battery management is very strict under EMUI and the RAM is emptied quickly. There is also an interesting discussion on RAM management here: https://www.androidpit.de/braucht-man-8-gbyte-ram

Under "Battery" it says "Close apps after locks".  Everything is deactivated so that the apps are not closed and yet it still can't cope with this.
