Does anyone have experience with the KVM function and can recommend it? Based on my experience with BenQ, I'm a bit sceptical about these screen KVMs, but maybe Philips has a better handle on it.
The KVM function usually does what it should. I have never had any problems when switching between laptop and PC.
It works well most of the time. I've been using this screen since January 24. However, I have to admit that I got my old usb switch back.
What's a shame is that there's no quick access to change the source. An external switch with a button is quicker than using the screen's kvm.
Apart from that, it's an excellent screen and I don't regret buying it at all. I use it for professional and private use (games, videos etc).
I use it with an Asus Strix G614. The laptop is only connected to USB C and the Logitech G510S keyboard is connected to the monitor with the cable. The USB plug from the Logitech M705 mouse is plugged into the laptop. The power adapter is not connected.
Everything works as it should.
I returned the monitor, upstream USB port was defective, pixel refresh bug had never worked and the message appeared on the screen all the time, returned it and got my money back.
