On the manufacturer's website, the monitor is advertised for photo editing, office and gaming. The specifications also correspond to other monitors that are categorised here as gaming monitors. So I think it's not a bad idea. Since I want to use it for all 3 purposes, I have just ordered it. Now I hope for the best. :-)
