does anc acutally work, no sales pitch.

According to test reports, the ANC works but not very effectively.

The electronics for reducing environmental noise do not work particularly effectively. Low-frequency, but regular noises such as the hum in an aeroplane or the bass content in street noise are only minimally reduced.
