Do I understand correctly that there is really only one physical sim slot and an additional e-sim. So not two physical sim slots?

If you check the Samsung Switzerland and Digitec websites, it says that there are two slots. (Look at SIM Slot 2 on digitec in the specifications) So you can use two physical sim cards.
